Scam artists are targeting citizens with phone calls offering bogus Government Grant ranging from $6000 to $10000. The scammers assure the potential victim that this would not cost him anything and that the grant money never had to be paid back. To convince the victim, the scam artists informs. You were selected because you pay your bills and taxes on time and don't have a criminal background. The victims are asked to call back with a reference number and that is when they are told to get a Greendot Moneypak card worth $150 or more and the Grant will be transferred within 24 hours!
